I have been a
Sister of Notre Dame since 1962 and have been teaching
since 1965 in elementary schools in the
Diocese of Covington, Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.
Before coming to St. Augustine School, I was principal at
Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary in Lexington and St.
Therese School in Southgate, Kentucky.
My family moved to St. Augustine Parish when I was
in High School, and so it is nice to return here to
teach. I
teach Social Studies to grades 5 - 8 and have the 6th
grade homeroom in the morning.
I graduated from Thomas More College with a BS degree and
from Xavier University with a Master's Degree in
Education.
I like teaching at St. Augustine because it is a small
school with a friendly, family atmosphere. Everyone
involved in the school from Sister Mary Lynette to the
staff, faculty, students and families work together to
make
St. Augustine School a great learning environment.
