Hello. My name is
Janice Villari, and I am excited to be teaching at St.
Augustine School. Though our
family lives in Cincinnati, this is not the first time
I've taught in the Diocese of Covington. After
receiving my BA in Education from the University of
Cincinnati, I began my teaching career at St.
Anthony School in Bellevue. When our sons were small, I
taught part-time at St. Joseph School in Cold
Spring. As the boys grew older, I returned to full-time
teaching in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
My husband, Joe, and I will celebrate our 25th wedding
anniversary this fall. Joe teaches Social Studies
at Sycamore High School. Neither of our sons are
following in their parents' footsteps; Alex is majoring
in Mechanical Engineering and Ted is majoring in Finance.
Both of our boys attend UC.
My interests include reading (I began reading the last
Harry Potter book the night it was released!),
walking with Libby, our white shepherd mix, music, playing
cards and board games, and the theater.
This past summer, my son and I saw "Phantom of the
Opera" on Broadway and I look forward to seeing
"Wicked" this winter at the Aronoff.
I am confident that together, you, your children, and the
faculty of St. Augustine will make this school
year a successful one!
