I
grew up in St. Augustine Parish with my parents, Joseph
and Mary Ellen and brothers: Joe, Tom, and John. My
hobbies include music, pets, and computers. My brother
Joe taught me how to play the guitar. Dogs and ferrets
are my favorite animals. I enjoy playing frisbee with
Fenway, my white shepherd/lab mixed breed dog. Several
times I have been to Cupertino, California, for advanced
training at Apple Computer, Inc. I entered the
Sisters of Notre Dame, a teaching community, in
1979. I always wanted to be a teacher.
I attended St. Augustine School. I graduated from Notre
Dame Academy in 1979. I received my BA in Education from
Thomas More College; my Masters in Education, from Xavier
University. My teaching experience covers grades 5-8 in
several schools: St. Agnes School, Park Hills; St. Joseph
School, Cold Spring; Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary,
Lexington; and St. Augustine School, Covington.
I enjoy teaching at St. Augustine School. I have shared
my talents with the school and parish community. I share
a personal history rooted in St. Augustine Parish. I was
baptized and confirmed in the Church; I also made
my Final Vows as a Sister of Notre Dame in 1988. I
work with great people; our St. Augustine faculty
represents a wealth of teaching experience. |
