Devotions During COVID-19
In the interest of the health and safety of our faithful and to help prevent the spread of the
COVID-19 virus, any nonessential meetings, events or gatherings scheduled to be held
from now through April 3 at any of our parishes, Catholic schools, diocesan offices, religious houses and other diocesan institutions are to be postponed or canceled.
During this time, we invite you to continue in the devotional life of the parish through the devotions on this page, through the recording of the Sunday Mass from our Cathedral-Basilica of the Assumption, or by daily Adoration in our campus Gymnasium from 8-9 a.m.
In recent times the Mother of God has appeared in various parts of the world and asked for the recitation of the Rosary, the prayer she gave to the world centuries ago. It is her favorite prayer, for it is essentially a meditation on the life of her Divine Son. The Rosary is a combination of vocal prayer (the Our Fathers & Hail Marys) and of mental prayer, namely, reflection on important events in the life of Christ and His Mother.
